“You're not Dostoevsky,' said the citizeness

'Well, who knows, who knows,' he replied.

'Dostoevsky's dead,' said the citizeness, but somehow not very confidently.

'I protest!' Behemoth exclaimed hotly. 'Dostoevsky is immortal!”

How often have I commented on this SITE alone, that Science IS a Religion, and the saddest specimens take it as such on Faith; the more Criminal Minded use something "very like Science" to fool the masses. The Sciences, have been for me, more like Philosophy or Philological thought; w/ the point being to approach something as close to Truth as is possible. Unfortunately, over the ages, Politicians and Popes alike have been unkind and less than honest with Science and those who study it. It continues today, perhaps with greater vigor than ever before.
