RIP George Michael

Post by Dreamweapon »

What is happening this year?!

Regardless of what your musical tastes are, so many who lots of us have grown up with have left us. Each one is a new shock.

So sad.

And only 53... That series of hits Wham! had in the 80s were some of the best pop songs of the era.

Sad news indeed.

I'll never forget where I was when I heard the tragic news an undercover policeman caught him knocking one out in an LA public toilet
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!

Such a shame to go so young. I only knew the more famous songs of his, but was always impressed by his efforts to evolve as an artist - really it was his personality that was endearing though, the good humour and defiance he had when dealing with the repulsive media and the hostility he faced regarding his sexuality. The fact that he struggled with mental illness makes that all the more impressive. RIP.
