yup grabbed loads of great bootlegs from there.. Godspeed, Mogwai, Trail of Dead, Electrelane, Elliot Smith..

its great how you can have a little listen to check the quality first by streaming it. and its all nicely organised and annotated with what source it is too.

also check out www.wolfgangsvault.com for loads of gigs from older bands (MC5, Dylan, Stones amongst loads of others).. you have to pay to download but you can stream for free. apparantly much of this comes from Bill Grahams archive.

The Sun-The Flaming Lips

Yesterday was sunny and 66 and today is supposed to be 70! Having not seen the sun since November we are rejoicing! Rain is supposed to return tomorrow though....

These guys were so fucking cool. Two brilliant records. Incredible fuzz/wah soaked funky scorchers straight from the streets of Detroit. I played both their albums twice today and am still left wanting more.

With the glorious sunny weather here in Ireland the past few days i've been feeling India in my bones again. Have to get back there again someday. Anyway, i've been blasting this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj-4t9drUlM

Right on, glad you like it! Their two albums are absolutely brilliant. My copies are reissues but I am constantly keeping my eyes open for the original issue LP.
