Just ordered one, now only 2 left. Worked out at €32, but fuck it! Tis a thing of beauty. :D Thanks for the link Toomilk.

Runcie, that's the same Feel So Sad one as mine alright. That blue LGM is stunning. Was there a set of them in blue, green, red and black?

Not that I know of. The huge subway posters were red. The smaller posters were blue. Those were the only UK LGM posters I ever saw.

I have a S3/Taang! Records/"For All the Fucked Up Children of the World" poster hung up downstairs in a cheap IKEA metal frame. It has their head shots in front of the S3 logo and small thumbnails of their albums that Taang! released. Not sure how rare it is but I've had it for several years.

It's always freaked some of our more conservative parent/friends out (and their kids) :D . But then again, so do some of our nude charcoal drawings that we have framed and hung in our bathroom! Some Americans are so fucking puritanical.

I wont wear a shirt that say Fuck on it. It pisses me off. I have a great shirt from a bar in Germany that has that "Who the fuck is Mick Jagger" on the front. It sits nice folded in my closet.

I wouldn't wear a shirt that says "Fuck" all over it either. Mainly because I'm no longer a teenager. Same reason that I also don't wear baseball hats with stiff, flat bills.

Yeah. We sell a lot of those at Gizmo. The whole Hip Hop crowd love that. The new rage are those adjustable plastic snap back hats. they sell for crazy money.

Measure it. You can go to Target and get a nice, yet inexpensive , frame. I believe that is a standard 24 x 36 inch poster. It will save you big $$ as opposed to custom framing it.

spzretent wrote:Yes. The Kate poster was seperate from the 4 x HUGE UK poster set. She is holding the record I think. I have gone thru a few sets of those LAGWAFIS sets but only have seen one Kate poster.

i've got one of the LAGWFIS posters. found in a backstreet leicester shop and purchased for 50p, i'll get a photo up of it.

I have that one, or rather I have the tattered remains of the poster, - the damp in my cellar got to it even though it was framed.

Its completely ruined but I still can't quite bring myself to throw it away!. £5.50 seems a very good price for it.

Me and the missus have recently bought a house, and she kindly let me decorate our hall & stairway to my heart's content. As I already owned a large LGM poster and small Recurring and Pure Phase poster, I thought a theme was in order. So after many ebay and amazon shopping sprees, this is what we've ended up with: :D

A techie question: How do you reduce picture size to post here? I recently got a couple of posters framed as a birthday present and would like to put pictures of them up here but everytime i try it says the file is too big. :?

Ive got loads of gig posters, my fav being one from the Electric Mainline era, the background has the LGM figures in the background, one from the old Astoria which is signed to spooks we owe all to you.

I will dig em out and post up some pics, i have the series of posters with each band member promoting the Medication single, i suppose if i was a single bloke the all we be up around the house, i only have the Electric Mainline and a large framed photo of Jason on stage at the Pyramids Portsmouth.

Most where taken along with set lists from the gigs i attended.

here is my contribution.
1992
We left the gig about 30 seconds before Smiles finished.
I got this for £1, maybe 2 inside the venue.

I have others but this is the best one - biggest one. Approx A1 size.

Love that "Summer season..." one spooks. That day in Worthing was very memorable for me.

and another,
well, strictly speaking this is an A5 flyer but i have the A3 version too.
Just a photo copy but an original 'off the wall' photocopy so it all counts to your total 'poster points' -
1993 Derby Warehouse

ebay = minus 10%
Original off the wall = add 20%
Original off the merch stall = neutral
Stored in a roll = minus 50% (you fools)
Size matters

etc etc

We arrived early and went into the venue to try and by tickets. Were told to go upstairs to find the promoter in the bar.
He was behind the bar with another chap on a stool at the bar talking to him with his back to us. I asked for tks, was told we'd have no problems buying on the door then turned to my left to notice Jason. Had i been on my own I'd have tried to start a conversation but i played it cool - acknowledged with a nod of the head that is was he, but left.
Cracking gig.

Bark Psychosis. I saw them at the Marquee in London.
I remember reading a review when I got back home and the reviewer was convinced the lead singer fell asleep on stage at one point. It was a pretty funny review in of all things Sounds I think.

Just got this. I tore it off a wall when I was in Leeds in November and traveled all the way back to the States with it. Framed on plexiglass. It's pretty huge and looks disgusting. All tattered and wrinkled. A conversation piece for sure!

Sorry Laz, there didn't appear to be any other bidders but apologies if I gazumped you.

That guy did have the same poster for sale a few weeks ago and I got outbid with seconds to spare on that one. So either he has a few of them or the person who won a few weeks ago didn't pay up and the seller made it available again.
I didn't look yesterday but he did have some very nice 4AD stuff a few weeks ago.

Ahh... maybe it was the previous auction i'm thinking about... was gutted i missed out on that. Will keep my eyes peeled in case its reappears. Still a beautiful poster regardless. Congrats on your new arrival! :D
