Crispin Glover is going to be in Chicago for two nights in Janaury doing readings from his books, Q&A sessions and showing two of his films: “It is fine! EVERYTHING IS FINE†and "What Is It?"
I haven't seen either of these movies, but I'm told they are both pretty weird. I'll probably go to one or the other. If anyone here is familiar with them and has a recommendation as to which night I should attend, let me know.

Re: Crispin Glover
i have not watched What Is It? - i have a bootleg burned DVD-R.
last year around this time we saw his 2nd movie, it was odd but compelling.
if he wasn't there to answer questions about it, i might have felt it was exploitative, but after hearing the story of its making, i no longer felt that way.
either way, Crispin is a good showman and an artist who follows his own path. he only does Hollywood movies to fund his personal creative ventures.
