I figured I'd make a new thread for the White Hills US shows. The show in Philly the other night was intense. It was pretty much the same set list as the UK shows minus H-p1 and Robot Stomp (I was hoping for one of these). It basically was a sonic assault from the opening chords of Oceans of Sound all the way through until the last song I Will Find Peace Of Mind, which was on fire. I was looking forward to grabbing the Oddity III CD from the merch table but unfortunately none to be had for the US dates but they are apparently "getting more printed up to be available in the future". I had a good vantage point so I decided to record the last few songs.

White Hills return to Portland on May 15th and play with Kinski. Sleepy Sun also return to Portland on their own with The Upsidedown on May 13.
May is MEGA gig heavy for me with BJM, Spz, Lanegan and now Sleepy Sun and White Hills.

Argh I want to see 'em so badly when they play at the Echo (it's a pretty sweet small venue in Silverlake) here in LA but it's 18+ and I am 17 and don't have a fake. The Echo pisses me off so much they have so many great shows but almost all of them are 18+. I don't get it... I can understand 21+, but... 18? Why? Anybody have a good explanation for that for me?
