Fire cashing in again?

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

Fire cashing in again?

Post by bambam »

Looks like translucent flashbacks is being repressed for RSD this year. Given that they repressed the the EPs that contain the full versions of these songs, this seems COMPLETELY unnecessesary. Check http://new-vinyl.blogspot.com/search?up ... -results=1

Interesting that they only ever really focus on the Glass material rather than what the Spacemen recorded for Fire themselves.

Isn't that because Playing... & Recurring were licensed to Fire rather than being recorded by them?

Of course. But they know it's a bigger pay day to reissue stuff that is potentially deleted. I may collect Spacemen 3 but I'm not giving any money to Fire for yet more reissues.

Not so much flogging a dead horse now as flogging a bit of ground where there used to be a dead horse.

Yes, but it is triple vinyl housed in what appears to be a die-cut sleeve  You know you want to!

And it's for Record Store Day - I definitely would ignore this if it wasn't an RSD release
and through wax seals and padlocks...a hand through my ribcage...past the choking I saw palms and fingers grasping shoulders...collarbone...crushing...I imagined myself hacking desperately at a sea of appendages...freeing myself like a butcher...
