Re: New stuff from Pete this year?

Apparently Carpark originally cut the orders of the limited, Indie only, foil sleeve vinyl for a number of record shops. Then, on delivery, those record shops received even less copies again, having already taken people’s orders. Did they underestimate the sales demand? Hope this hasn’t affected Pet...

Re: New stuff from Pete this year?

So is it both Bandcamp & Carpark who have sent these out early? I ordered through Rough Trade to collect, as I used to be based about 5 minutes away from there. Can’t see that happening by next week. Also, the post has been erratic to say the least round here, sometimes taking a month to arrive. So,...

Re: Deluxe versions of other Spiritualized albums

Found it. It's from Uncut 2015 with Jason discussing Spiritualized, album by album. It’s weird because recently I found an original mix of “Take Good Care Of It”, with Rico Rodriguez. It’s kind of straight, without any of that phasing and soundscape to it, and it’s beautiful. I listened to it, think...

Re: RAH LAG Reviews

It seems like the sound quality all depended on where your seats were. I thought the sound on Tuesday from the front of the rear stalls was far less bass heavy than on Monday from the front of the front stalls. Also, my view on Monday wasn’t great as I couldn’t see the string section or the rhyt...

Although this was in essence the same set as Leamington Spa and Malaga, once again it was taken to anothe...

Re: CERVANTES CLUB MALAGA SPAIN

It was a two hour show, same set as leamington spa. Highlights, were the A & E songs which I always feel sound better live (acoustic or electric) than on the album, the Repeater-ish opening guitar played by Jason before Oh baby, the unexpected crescendo just before the call & response part of I thin...
