Just bought a Samsung note as an alternative to having a laptop and it does what I need with one exception. I do miss saving my cds and burning compilations. Does anyone know if a tablet can connect to a burner, if I can save cds onto a memory card or the tablet or how I can do this. I was thinking ...

Dexys - One day I'm going to soar this lp is amazing, it talks to me, makes me laugh, cry, smile, worry, empathise. Does anyone else share my love for Kevin Rowland as a story teller? So intense, raw, maybe my personality is similar, not in the skill of story telling but just in what he talks about....

my first exposure was queen live in 1975 first record was Chuck Berry - My ding a ling which must have been about 77 Blondie fan club member in about 1978 - testosterone kicking in Gary Numan massively - awckward teenager from 79 for quite along time then the smiths, New order before the mary chain ...

funny too how some music fits surroundings etc - I liked cheval sombre but found it a little dull until I went on holiday and totally chilled out listening to it by a pool, peace and quiet and really started to love it. The Mary Chain's Stoned and Dethroned is cool but not totally accoustic.

I liked the Soup Dragons last couple of lps including I'm Free - also check out his stuff post SD - think its High Fidelity - top, top lp and eps to check out there with lots of Indian vibes, psych & good to my ears!

I think Scott Reilly wrote it too - now plays in a mod influenced band called dc fonatana I think. I think that the solo lp Spectrum is seriously underated and/or has not had the distribution it deserves - keep hearing that space age will be re releasing it one day????? Even down to the artwork - my fav sleeve I think in my collection including the inner sleeve of Sonic's toys/collectable figures...

I know the band has been together for a bit even though the guitarist has changed but it could be kev cowan. He was on a dean and britta track lot so long ago that sonic was involved with if i remember rightly.
