Re: New LP from The Orb
The Moonbulding 2703 AD (2015) is my favorite 21st-century work of theirs. Maybe not as immediately satisfying/catchy as UFOrb or Orblivion but it is super rich and detailed in all of the sounds. It seemed to be very well received too... which is why I can't figure out why it was the last big projec...

Re: Interview with Mads Bjerke (Spiritualized engineer)
Fantastic interview! Mads was able to finally explain the myth that Jason has been running since PP came out. It never made sense to me that they would cut a master mix tape every few bars to offset milliseconds. Yet, I don't think he deflates the story at all and in fact brings a lot more of the de...

Hey, I do like the album a lot but went to the show in SF with a full crew of people that don't like anything past LAGWAFIS and in most cases like this one the least. They were all blown away! The material is better live, much more dynamic, and makes a lot of sense listening to it all of the way thr...

Nice interview. Yeah, that conflict was pretty well documented in a Ghazala interview from '99 that is unfortunately no longer available (was here: http://www.pansiecola.demon.co.uk/tech.html). Then again, maybe it's better to let that one dissolve as both sides stated their case. Reading your inter...

Hi,
The Mad Love LP is available as a download through Boomkat (and probably others as well).

The Fuxa LP is on iTunes.
I'm pretty sure both LPs come with a digital download (the fuxa picturedisc does for sure).

Hunt this down on Gavin Bryers's 'Sinking of the Titanic' (1971). The title track has some very beautiful string arrangements (that are very spiritualized). In fact, I think the DJ at the October 2009 RFH gig may have played it before the show.
