Wow, totally unimpressed with this. Only made it to track 5 before I had to turn it off due to embarrassment (teenagers are the harshest critics). Sounds forced and contrived. The lo-fi production is shit as well.

I think my favorite album of the year is Andy Shauf's The Bearer Of Bad News. Young singer/songwriter from Saskatchewan. Kind of a cross between Elliott Smith and Joni Mitchell. The lyrical content of this song wouldn't be out of place on a Nick Cave album-

Sony has recently re-established itself as a player in the headphone world, even amongst the higher end stuff. I have a pair of MDR Z7s and they are the best cans I've ever owned - super comfortable too. Their newer in-ear models are great too and give any Shure a run for its money, imo.

Drove past the "Twin Peaks" diner today and all the windows were covered and there were work crews busy renovating the interior of the place for some imminent filming of the new series. Lynch was also reportedly in town in July.
