I don't think there can be a reunion so long as the current situation persists. It seems Fire still retain the rights to the material which was originally released on Glass records, so maybe the dispute with Palmer only relates to subsequent material? It would be nice to know for sure.

I think Youth is a good choice, but then I'm an old Killing Joke fan so I would. :D I'm seeing it as a sign that J wants to pull out some more experimental sounds this time round, which is encouraging, as his most recent few LPs have verged a little too far (for my comfort) towards "dad rock" territ...

Do you want it for the music or for ownership of the artefact? Personally I'd go for both; get the standard edition now if you can't find a wheel copy (it's an awesome LP), plus you'll have one to play to death and one to keep in good nick for the collection.

From looking at the waves it seems to be nowhere near as obnoxiously brickwalled as some recent releases for sure, but could still be a wee bit better. I suppose that in 2012 one mustn't complain too much though.

Taste was great fun, definitely an interesting listen if you came to it expecting something different!

Anybody else got the "Trademark of Quality" live LP? The versions of the songs on that are far superior, IMO, to the studio versons.
