Re: David Holmes

It probably reminds you of this (if you've heard it of course!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1iz7R3H4A8 Originally a track Holmes and Gallagher worked on for Who Built Moon but Noel didn't like the chorus so reworked it later as This Is The Place. Not sure if Holmes has used the original chorus...

Re: BZAs Bootleg Requests...

These are probably the best I have to hand immediately... Opera House Toronto 20 Oct 2003 Gypsy Ballroom Dallas 20 November 2003 Carling Academy 24 Jan 2004 Maybe there's something around the 20th of the month? The Opera House gig has been considered a "fan favourite" for a while now... n...

Re: BZAs Bootleg Requests...

Is there a good recording from the Amazing Grace tour that someone could upload please? I've really got back into that album lately. Pretty sure I saw them at Wolverhampton on the tour but I have no recollection of any detail!

Thanks in advance.

Re: "Everything was beautiful" - New Spiritualized® Album 2022

The same edition of Uncut magazine also had the LP at the top of it's monthly playlist: After the fairly restrained - by his standards - And Nothing Hurt J.Spaceman lets it all out: trombones, choirs, great surges of orchestral sound and a full-on country weepie. There is also a feature in the forth...

Re: "Everything was beautiful" - New Spiritualized® Album 2022

Looks like there is an interview with Jason in the new Mojo magazine - presumably some LP promo? https://www.mojo4music.com/magazine/latest-issues/mojo-338-january-2022-the-rolling-stones-the-best-of-2021/ JASON PIERCE Spiritualized’s seeker after transcendence on obsession, illness, “corrupting cli...

Re: Primal Scream : The Original Memphis Recordings

Slightly off topic but can anyone share a rip of Mixomatosis (2017 Record Store Day release)?

https://www.discogs.com/Primal-Scream-M ... e/10174161

There's often a follow up digital release for these vinyl releases but I can't find one for this.

Thanks in advance.

Re: "And Nothing Hurt" - new Spiritualized® album 2018

There's a double page spread in the new edition of Q (No.389, September 2018, Christine & The Queens on the cover). Interview about recording the album. Haven't got a scanner unfortunately otherwise I'd post it!

Black Mountain Bonus Tracks

Don't know if anyone can help but I didn't know where else to ask. I'm after two tracks which were bonuses on the Black Mountain albums: Jonny Svenson Lives (from Black Mountain) and Black Cat (from In The Future). I cannot find these to download anywhere (I'm happy to pay for them if they are avail...

Thanks for that - I'll bear it in mind once the Acoustic Mainlines gig is available.

Re: iTunes Live?

OK. I think I'll just put up with the gaps! Sounds complicated and I only have limited technology (and technology knowledge!) available. Thanks for the advice - I just wondered if there was an easy way round it but obviously not.

Thanks again.

Re: iTunes Live?

OK, thanks for the update. I didn't think I could get any files off itunes to play on my MP3 player but just wanted to confirm. Its useful to know you can burn straight to a CD though. In terms of burning CDs whenever I burn a downloaded gig there are always annoying gaps between the songs. I tend t...

Re: iTunes Live?

Can anyone help me with itunes - I'm new to downloading. I have an MP3/WMA player (not an ipod) - will I be able to get this gig off itunes and play it on my MP3/WMA player or do I need an ipod? Sorry if that is an obvious question but I have looked at the itunes page and cannot get an easy answer. ...

Wolverhampton Gig

Went to the gig last night - really enjoyed it. The light show was fantastic - made my eyes stream but gave me a big smile! It was kinda like being on a ride at Alton Towers! The set list was similar to what people have witnessed at other gigs but we got an epic version of Cop Shoot Cop accompanied ...
