Re: Creation 20+ years later
Giant Steps by The Boo Radleys is still a great album and i always thought Grand Prix by Teenage Fanclub could/should have been massive but was released in January and was kind of lost. Great run of Super Furries records too - great memories of climbing on their tank cum sound system at the Phoenix ...

I was at that gig in King Tut's. One of my best Spiritualized shows and thought my eyes were going to burst with the strobes that lasted almost the whole of Cop Shoot Cop.
Had it on tape at one point but sadly now lost.

Turns Into Stone would have been a great album on it's own merits never mind being a B sides and stand alone singles compliation. Most of the B sides wouldn't have been out of place on the first album. Mersey Paradise and Standing Here would be songs any other band of that time (or now) would have k...

Don't know if it's strictly Shoegazing but the Rocket EP by a band called Working For A Nuclear Free City is worth a listen. Don't think it's out until next week but i've heard it a good few times on BBC 6 and through their myspace site. Maybe a cross between shoegazing and Delakota would be a bette...

Re: One Dove
Anyone remeber this band. Morning Dove White is the album title. This was such and overlooked album when it came and I just got home and was blasting the CD in my car. Very similar to Primal Scream's Screamadelica with female vocals. Thanks to Andy Weatherall. Such a great record! You just summed u...

The interview/videos i was talking about was definitely after the summer of 94 as Miles Hunt didn't do 120 minutes for MTV until after the Stuffies split up (which was the summer of 94). No doubt there was more of the live stuff but it was only Medication that MTV played as part of Jason's interview...

i personally hope that the real stone roses never reform. why bother, the spirit is gone. Agreed. One of my biggest let downs was seeing them in 95 just after Reni had left. Was hoping for the Roses of 89/90 but got the John Squire Zeppilin Experience instead. That's before we even get to the perfo...

I was at the Glasgow QMU gig mentioned earlier and thought it was excellent - bombscare and all.
