A friend has let me down and pulled out of coming to see Low's Christmas concert at St George's Church in Brighton on Saturday 3 December. This is a real long shot, but if anyone happens to be at a loose end and fancies the ticket they are more than welcome! There would still be trains back to Londo...

I probably identified with the loneliness and melancholy of Soul Mining more, but Infected - and especially the movie - broadened my horizons in many ways. I'm guessing J already had the orchestral/choir arrangements for Out of Sight/Oh Happy Day to hand and didn't have time/inclination to produce new ones for other songs. With time to reflect, I'd say it felt a different performance to the last set of shows, a bit more swampy and enveloping sound-wise...

What's the spoiler? It's the same encore that it's been with all of the LAGWAFIS shows. Indeed, but I mentioned it for the benefit of anyone going last night who hadn't been before and wanted to leave the encore songs to be a surprise on the night.
