Re: The Spiritualized Book & Comic Club
I'd start with Kill Your Friends, The Second Coming and Kill 'Em All. The character Steven Stelfox is in all of them. Oh boy, there's a man who can really write .... you're not wrong there. And the research that must have gone into them .... bloody hell! Library didn't stock any John Niven books. I...

Horse Lords, Workmans Club, Dublin: I've been to a load recently but i'll just concentrate on last nights gig. A great 1 hour set from the Baltimore 4-piece of guitar, bass, drums and a double-jobber on percussion and saxophone, on their first visit to these shores. Instrumental throughout and a ra...

May watch Pale Blue Eyes at either Hebden bridge or Liverpool as they sound quite my kind of thing (very rare indeed for a newer band !) Caught them last year, much better live than on record. Nice Stereolab vibe to them at times. I've got Horse Lords, Snapped Ankles, TV AM, Godflesh, Acid Mothers ...

I can assure you it's not a 10/10 album. I'd give it a 7 i think. Or maybe it's a 6.5, i dunno.
