Some would say a bias perspective because I am playing it but one I would stand by - best lineup of the year so far is easily Bluedot for me.

Kraftwerk, New Order, 808 State, Gruff Rhys, Jon Hopkins and loads more: https://www.discoverthebluedot.com/homepage

Hi all, Mark here from The Lucid Dream. Can't wait for this one. Massive respect to the organisers booking bands like Super Furrys, The Stairs and maybe not to everybodys tastes The Horrors. A lot of people question those bands as psychedelia but the organisers clearly are looking at the fact that the term encompasses many things. Persona...

I think given the size of the acts, and another 20+ to be added, £70 is fair. We all easily spend that on a night out, and getting to see The Mary Chain, BJM, Wire and The Raveonettes on the same bill is an absolute one-off. Even better that it's the north of England. :)

I wouldn't mind at all if Oh Baby, Lord Let It Rain On Me, Cheapster, and Soul On Fire disappeared from the setlists and were never played again. Seconded. Re: Best albums of 2010

In this order: Flaming Lips - Embryonic Wooden Shjips - Dos The Horrors - Primary Colours Re. Doves - Kingdom Of Rust - i think its not a patch on Lost Souls/Last Broadcast, but it is much better than Some Cities, I agree the production is a vast improvement on Some Cities. They also put a great sho...

Re: Guitar Anorak Question

Both Vox guitars are worth close to £1,000, but a combination of selling lots of unused stuff and getting one of them for 2/3 of the value helped. I bought the Vox Lynx over 2 years ago on E bay, nightmare to play but sounds excellent. That Non-reverse Firebird is a beauty. This is a good thread fo...

Love this album, it might well be their best, full respect for making an album as far out as that at this stage in their career. Saw t...

Re: Gateshead Sage - Woe is me !

Just made this from Carlisle due to snow after a 2 1/2 hr journey. Thank god I did. Best gig I have ever seen without a doubt, seen Spiritulaized 6 or 7 times but this was better than them all put together, Sound as ever in the Sage was perfect. Best song - All Of MyThoughts, Never thought I would e...
