Looks lovely. 500 made at the time. Few turn up on Discogs now and then. Someone offers £150 for it. £150! You...

Re: Angel Olsen announces new album, ‘My Woman’ 2/9

Such a great album, really is. I'd easily put in my top 3 for the year. Her gig at Camden Koko a few weeks back was simply amazing. Does anyone like Weyes Blood? Her new album "Front Row Seat To Earth" should appeal to fans of My Woman I reckon. It's from the folky side of life, influenced by that 6...

New Moon Duo track http://www.thefader.com/2016/11/01/moon-duo-occult-architecture-vol-1-cold-fear "Cold Fear," a haunting, exhilarating song with hints of '80s minimal electro no wave. Over email, Johnson told The FADER that the track "is about primal fear, like drowning, or falling endlessly in a ...

Re: I'd rather tell you about......Psychic Ills

I had some noise on mine too, in fact the second disc was just about unlistenable. I had the limited pressing from the label and let them know and they were kind enough to send me a replacement. it's better but not a great pressing overall. I don't know who sacred bones is using for a pressing plan...

Re: I'd rather tell you about......Psychic Ills

I put my copy of the desert haze vinyl on again last night and the surface noise is definitely audible during the quieter spaced out songs. Having a re-read through this thread again it seems like I'm the only one having problems. May have to exchange it somehow but am well out of date on the receip...

Re: What gigs have you just been to?

Angel Olsen last night at Koko in Camden. Mesmerising, sublime, beautiful, powerful, fantastic band and stage presence. Really blew me a way and made me lose myself a good few times during the show. Spell binding woman I must say, quite hard taking your eyes off her, extremely talented and her band ...

Re: Late Night Tales David Holmes

This is also said to be the reason why the "Boris Island" airport is a non-starter, according to a civil engineering specialist I was talking to recently. Apparently the proposed airport footprint goes over the sunken ship, and it's impossible to either clear the (now highly unstable) explosives or...

Re: New turntable and record collecting in general

Here's a nerdy question for the record filers amongst you: (which may well have been answered or discussed previously but I'm typing quick at work so can't browse through the history) Do you file your records alphabetically and if so what do you do with those spineless 12" singles? Put them amongst ...
