Also, in Let It Come Down the song, " 12 Steps " ambulance sirens start at about the 1:25pm mark. Especially, for this song, the sirens seems integral. For And Nothing Hurts I like the re-introduction of the glockenspiel not heard since Lazer Guided Melodies. haha yep! that part always us...

We flew to NYC weekend before last ago to see Cheval Sombre live at a very small venue in Brooklyn. It was magic. Had the chance to speak with him at length afterward and he was kind enough to sign all of the vinyl I had brought with me and exchange a hug. We might go back to NYC see him and Dean W...

yeah Please Kill Me was a great read indeed, I wanted to save it for our trip to Europe but the way my friend described it I just caved in and finished it off. highly recommend it, in fact I've read quite a bit on the Velvets/Iggy/Patti and they managed in a few chapters to "lay more down"...

yeah gotta agree, I saw them twice now, the first one was for Slave Ambient and it was a great night out with a gang of fools and friends. great sound, really mellow and the tunes just seemed to float right on by. well, then I saw them again a few years ago and couldn't believe it was the same band....

why not? some reunions have been great, Stooges, SUICIDE, Love, Brain Wilson and the Beach Boys, The Specials, The Mary Chain, Slowdive, Ride, Stone Roses, MBV to name but a few. Re: RSD 2017
I agree about some of the pricing. I paid $25 for Link Wray - Beans & Fatback LP.
the way i see it is i will never find an original copy of this album, and definitely not for that price. so it's worth it in this case. but yeah, $16 for a new 7" is a bit steep.

absolutely agree. I thought 936 was absolutely brilliant. I was a big champion of them, I was telling anyone who would listen.
