Re: current project

yes ethereal is a good way to describe the vocals, I think that's what makes it stand out from other alt rock bands, where they usually might have a more gruff fella up front. I like the way that the melodies kind of float across it too. so well done Dave!

love me a boxset, these are often not good for my bank balance though. it's really a good way to cover a certain period in time, some bands are really obscure, or were only really good for one great single (nothing wrong with that). or of course less obvious choices from more well known acts.. it's ...

I believe myself and fellow Outpatients saw these play at the ATP festival a few years back, it was a nice chilled break from the other acts. big fan of Stars of The Lid, it's proper beautiful minimalist stuff, I don't think you can really go wrong with them. sometimes it's just one note fading in a...

Fictions all made up don’t you know!
I must say, I agreed with Jason on that one.. as I've got older I still like reading as much as I ever did, but 90% of what I read is non-fiction. there's so much to learn about the world, why waste time reading someone's flights of fancy? :)

Re: What gigs have you got coming up?

I was listening to the album at the weekend, didn't find it particularly jazzy though. I suspect that in the live setting they have the capacity to head off in any direction of their choosing. Re: March Paradiso 2019 gig

Hi Momo, welcome! I would agree with Spiby- never had a problem getting down the front at a Spz gig, if that's where you wanna be. it's not the sort of crowd that queues up for hours and then stakes out their territory at the front. support act- although it's true that some of the bigger gigs with o...
