Re: Fav Albums and Stuff: 2021

A pretty good year for music, I reckon. But I wouldn't say there's one album that really JUMPS out at me as my soundtrack of the year, or a true classic. Having said that, the below are the albums I've enjoyed most this year. Interesting that there's not a lot of crossover between the lists here. My...

I have an original copy of the CDR. The sound is very, very good to my ears. It is obviously a primitive recording, but then so are a lot of the early CM albums. The sound is very powerful. Some of the keyboard drones are verging on being thunderous. I quite like the voices that crop up from time t...

I have that Jah Wobble album on the 'to listen to' list. Short review after further listening: I'm glad I didn't pay £44 for it. :D listened to the preview track of this (Poptones), and although it was quite a good retool of the song it wasn't really that dubby. Re: *** Spaceman Reissue Program ***

Re: *** Spaceman Reissue Program ***

I hope a volume 2 will contain the 1997 Royal Albert Hall show and maybe The Complete Works series on vinyl. Or at least a singles compilation of some kind. Re: Aquarium Drunkard Interview / New Album

Wow okay, in which case I don't know how he makes ends meet, he lives in one of the most expensive cities on Earth. Wouldnt begrudge the band licensing songs for movies or adverts tbh, whatever it takes to keep going these days isn't it. Maybe the big dates with the orchestras and stuff lose money, ...

Re: *** Spaceman Reissue Program ***

Yeah that Dr John video footage was really cool and bit of a tease. We'll never see a proper documentary or release I'm sure. When was the last time the band did a do...
