Went to Bristol Anson Rooms last week to see, Kurt Vile & The Violators. It was a great gig and the first time we'd seen him live. Plenty of variety from more recent albums and a couple of older songs, too. Excellent stuff.

Given that this thread now incorporates comics I thought I'd recommend a comic I used to read years ago. It's Madman of Snap City. The artwork and dialogue is brilliant with Frank Einstein (Madman) being a real anti-hero.

I rented this last night. Mistake. Pretty awful film. I thought the storyline was ok but, the film was poorly made and the acting (apart from Joe), was fairly weak.

I don't reccommend this.

Sorry to hear that. We lost two of our Greyhounds earlier this year. It's horrendous. You think they're just a pet, but you become so attached to them. Guess it's because there's no bad in a pet and they show us unconditional love.

Countryfile and Spz is a nice combination, i think. However, i looked at that terrible VW ad. It just didn't seem to fit with me. Spz music is held in such high regard by me that to hear it used in such a way as to advertise a product seems almost blasphemous...
