The L'épée album is excellent. Not sure whether it will be a one off, but going to catch them in Brighton in December.

All Points East

I am off to East London tomorrow for All Points East. Spiritualized set is apparently 18:40-19:30 on the West Stage. Will be interesting to see what the set list looks like at start of festival season. I imagine Shine A Light and Come Together will feature, but just 50 minutes is a bit of a short se...

Re: Green Man 2017

I've been last 2 years with the Mrs and our two teenagers and both times the weather has been iffy with a good bit of rain, but the (family) camping has been good. Plenty of space, warm showers with minimal queuing (for the blokes ones anyway). Even with the rain getting in and out of the car park w...

Thanks for posting the set and also for the YouTube link.

Great album. Loved Aufheben but I think Revelation is even better. Really looking forward to the gig in Brighton although I realised the other day it will clash with England second round WC game if they manage to squeeze through in second place (which could well happen).

When I saw them in 2008 they were pretty awful, but when I saw them again in 2012 in London after Aufheben was released they were excellent. If I remember Anton had sobered up, Will Carruthers was playing and so was Matt Hollywood who had rejoined the band. Hopefully this tour will be the 2012 vinta...

Will we see any Spiritualized dates in the UK this summer I wonder?

Thanks for the update. I think I will order the original 3 DVD set you can get off Ebay as that should have more of what I want to watch (Spiritualized, Verve etc). The 'new' film version seems to just be a single DVD of edited highlights.

You've got to hand it to Jason. For an established band to play a new album in its entirety (and as the first hour of a show) and not play anything at all from the last tour (which admittedly was a previous album in full) is unheard of as far as I know. Also to do this in the Royal Albert Hall rathe...
