Love Cian's song, definite Dennis Wilson vibes.

And totally agree about Love Kraft, that was the first time i realised SFA were more than just a backing group for Gruff.

It's ok, the thing I loved about Orbital was that they had their own sound, from the 3 plays of the album so far it sounds pretty generic. Maybe it will grow on me.

Going to see them on Saturday though, looking forward to it.

I'm by no means an expert on clothing but I reckon the t shirt I bought in Glasgow is decent quality. It seems a heavier gauge of cotton than the Boards of Canada shirt I bought from the Warp website, which was my last band merch purchase. And ethically made too according to the label.

The Hey Jane cover looks like one of the projections from the Edinburgh gig in October, there was a variety of different patterns, I'm sure that was one of them. Perhaps the inner sleeves will keep that theme running.

Vic Reeve's Book Of World Knowledge

Anyone seen this book? Saw it at my friend's house at the weekend after a few refreshments and was sure there was a drawing of Spaceman in it.

I'm doubting myself now in my sobriety but I'd have bet my house on it on Saturday night.

peacock tail by boards of canada. this song hypnotises me. it's just the same passage repeated but something else is added every time, until we're left with an intensely layered, beautiful piece of music.

i used to skip by it thinking it was boring until a red wine fuelled epiphany one balmy evening.
