saw them last year and it was absolutely fantastic! probably more intense than when i saw them in 2000. i picked some of the live recordings from their last year's tour. as you say they got more and more powerful. "We Drift Like Worried Fire", which used to be called "Gamelan", is also my favorite....

I've just listened to the new album streaming on NPR.
Chicago and Hell Broke Luce are brilliant. I'm pretty sure Marc Ribot plays on both tracks.

'Another Year' Very good, indeed. Leslie Manville was brilliant. It's a very good film. Peter Wight and Imelda Staunton also show great performances. This album is the best for me so far this year.
And also their first album has become one of my favorites ever, which is rawer and louder than II and reminds me of Led Zep's Achilles Last Stand and Dazed And Confused.
