A big thank you for recording and posting this. The set list appears to be the same as the Hackney Empire gig, less Step Into The Breeze & Oh Happy Day at the very end. It's a shame Step Into The Breeze was dropped as that was one of the highlights for me at Hackney, and I would have loved to h...

Sounds excellent and what makes it even better is that tracks are not separated. You download a personal recording of a gig where all is in one track. Brilliant. Hi again, thanks for posting: that is one incredible recording you made, so many many thanks for that. Re: New Tom Waits Single
I've just listened to the new album streaming on NPR.
Chicago and Hell Broke Luce are brilliant. I'm pretty sure Marc Ribot plays on both tracks.
And the rest are the same old Tom. I think Satisfied sounds very much like Big Black Mariah.
I'm looking forward to getting my copy.

Re: Recommend me some heavy music (that isn't metal)
the latest live Les Rallizes Denudes 6xcd box-set. I think 6CDs might be a bit too much to take in but I've put Heavier Than a Death in The Family on my to buy list. While 6 discs might seem too much for anyone not familiar with LRD, this box-set is so good that after the first disc hits you head o...

Anything by the great Jack Nitzsche... Performance, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Next, The Excorcist.... totally agree with that! my all-time favorites are Last Tango In Paris by Gato Barbieri Wonderland by Michael Nyman and also Lynch films(and TV drama) - Blue Velvet/Twin Peaks/Lost Highway Taranti...

Re: The Spiritualized Film Club
'Another Year' Very good, indeed. Leslie Manville was brilliant. It's a very good film. Peter Wight and Imelda Staunton also show great performances. However Mike Leigh is a genius at "awkward situations" and "embarrassing moments". So when I saw this film last year, I got a big...

This album is the best for me so far this year.
And also their first album has become one of my favorites ever, which is rawer and louder than II and reminds me of Led Zep's Achilles Last Stand and Dazed And Confused.

What a brilliant compliment, that appeals so much to me. Must see and laugh myself to death.Laz69 wrote:Possibly the most fucked up, screwed up, violent and funniest film since Peter Jackson's Brain Dead.
