I emailed Fat Possum and they came back to me the same day with a download code - EXCELLENT service! I did as well...but do the wav files they sent you sound any different to you? I actually had a feeling that he owned the rights to anything released by 'Spacemen 3' due to Sonic and other members' frustrations, whatever label it was released on. I gather that anything (re)released on Space Age whether by Spacemen 3, Spectrum or EAR is also linked to Gerald. I think I remember...

Apparently Carpark originally cut the orders of the limited, Indie only, foil sleeve vinyl for a number of record shops. I've had my copy from Carpark, and waiting to receive my indies copy from Piccadilly Records today (had an email to say it's been mailed out). First listen as I'm working this morning - really like tracks 1,2,3,7 and 10.

How has he managed to get round any of the monies going to Gerald Palmer? I know it's being released on Carpark and not Space Age, but thought the whole issue was that he also owned the rights to anything Sonic related. They've lasted a good while, but the coating on the left earpiece is really peeling away now (not much left), but the cushion is still fine, and I'm not noticing any particularly bad side effects, but what are people's opinions and experiences when this happens - does it mean I should start looking ...
