I don't know if it's because I was up in the balcony and the sound was poor, but they didn't seem half as a ferocious as I was expecting. I've got a few bootlegs with some awesome feedback going on, but William seemed a bit shy of his pedals for my liking.

I was reading my housemate's Mixmag the other day and noticed in the Daft Punk feature that Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo's (one half of Daft Punk) first band, Darlin', were heavily influenced by Spacemen 3. Interesting.

According to The Sage, discussions are ongoing for a collaboration between Northern Sinfonia (The Sage's resident orchestra) and Spiritualized. It's planned for next June but nothing has been confirmed.

I'm with 'a saint' when it comes to Tribe. 'Peoples Instinctive Travels...' is a funk-laden corker from start to finish, and don't forget they sample Hot Chocolate, Ian Dury, and Stevie Wonder to name a few.

I have to say though, Jurassic 5's debut is my favourite.

I have a recording of the Glastonbury '02 from a foreign radio station show and it really is amazing. I remember reading a review in the nme saying they opened with Cop Shoot Cop, but the recording begins with Electricity. Does anyone know the complete setlist?
