Re: Jason Spaceman ATP Radio Spaceman 270514 MP3 (And More ?

Loving these but can anybody explain how they came about? I had the Breezeblock sets already and am assuming the first download link was for a DJ set Jason did for ATP, but are the other sets "J Spaceman 80, Spacemen 3 120, Bobby Gillespie 80" and whatnot selected by those artists or by FM...

Re: MBV reissues (pigs can fly?)

I also remember an interview way back when he said Loveless or Tremelo, or possibly both, were far better suited to the CD format because of the shorter tracks that segue between the main tracks. Actually that must have been Tremelo, as the CD has an additional piece that links tracks 2 and 3, where...

Interesting blurb on previous usage, never saw those Stooges and Shocking Blue covers before.

Earworm Single (also mini clearout)

Was thinking of putting the Earworm single up on eBay and was wondering a. If the tracks are exclusive to the 7", never been sure? and b. What sort of money might it go for (if anyone else has seen one on eBay praps)? Have already put a US tour poster and an old Spacemen shirt up for auction, t...

Re: Will there be a new Spectrum album ... ever?

The Spacemen segued into War Sucks from Revolution sometimes (or at least Sonic recited the lyrics over it), I think it survives on some live recordings, will dig around unless someone else beats me to it. Fact still remains, Sonic is like Shields in that you just can't push the guy, though you do s...

Trojan and Spector, also the Motown Christmas Album, worth it for Stevie Wonder's awesomely surreal take on Ave Maria alone.

Only music I have on my list this year is the Tron Legacy OST 2CD edition by Daft Punk. Now I feel like I should be asking for some other stuff :?

Re: Spiritualized Peel Sessions

Regarding Letting It Flow, does anyone have this and care to share? I remember reading here that it has a good recording of I Am What I Am instead of the muffled, distorted MP3 I always seem to find (and which I think was on The Real Complete Works)

Re: Outer Limits magazines

Yeah that wasn't me, did those copies sell? Listing mine tomorrow night, and I do have the 7" sleeve so will be including that, and am selling the record separately (signed by Sonic) and a bunch of other goodies (Catalogue mag with flexis etc) Seem to have mislaid one of the postcards (the one ...

DIME blues

Would love a little advice on how to correctly and fairly maintain a Dime account, as I know a lot of people on these boards use it. Please don't take this as me bitching about Dime cause I think it is awesome, and excuse my noobisms Since I first got an account a while back, each time I browse for ...

Letting It Flow

I read about this compilation a while back on these boards, I believe it's made up of various BBC sessions but the thing that caught my eye is that it apparently has a good quality version of I Am What I Am, unlike the MP3s that have done the rounds for years, which sound pretty badly muffled/compre...

Re: Air (French band)

jadams, the tracks you listed aren't "unreleased" as such, that's just a very big compilation of b-sides, remixes, live tracks and so on. Check Discogs.com and you could probably match most of those up. Air are quite a fun band to collect, prices have never got too crazy, and there are a t...

Re: Spacemen 3 torrent

I snagged the big torrent a little while back and noticed a bunch of shows have appeared on Dime, are these all from the same source or anything "new"? Annoyingly I don't currently have access to the big torrent so can't check! On a similar note, I have an old cassette boot of a Spacemen s...
