to be honest i thought the new stuff was pretty dirge like for the most part, lifeless. Saw the gig at Edinburgh a few months ago and it sounded a bit better, not sure why . . . but the old material just blows the new stuff out of the water Electric Mainline nearly made up for missing Manuel Gottsch...

recently I've Steve Mason (ex Beta Band, really good) and Leftfield (took a couple of songs to get into it, and then it was cracking.
