Re: Effects pedals used by Spacemen 3

This thread might provide interesting for you regarding tremolo: http://ideensynthese.de/spiritualized/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=9559 I was always under the impression that Jason used a standard Colorsound wah, but I suppose it's possible that it was a fuzz-wah. There is a photo in a thread in this ...

My cover of 'Hey Man' / 'Amen'

I just wanted to share this cover I did of a Spacemen 3 song a few years ago, if anyone's interested. It's only a rough demo cut - no production.

Re: Sonic's Gear

I concur with the Boss Dr Sample and the Korg EA1 identifications. The Behringer stompbox in the video is probably a VD400 (analogue delay) The stompbox in the photo is a Boss Digital Delay. cant tell the model, maybe a DD3 though. The Yamaha keyboard looks like the model suggested. The little cream...

A Yamaha SPX90 rack unit? or a Boss half rack?

I've read S3 used the former on 'PP' album.

In Sonic's New Atlantis studio equipment list, there's a 1980s BOSS RRV-10 half rack reverb unit listed.

Covers by Spacemen 3

Hello, I'm new to the forum (just registered but been here numerous times in the past). I'm trying to compile a comprehensive list of all songs by other artists that Spacemen 3 covered. (They don't have to be on an official release - they can be live performances and demos.) Below I'm posting a list...

Re: For All The Fucked Up Children

I acquired this album on vinyl not long after it came out.

I was rather disappointed with it. But it's interesting nevertheless.

S3 certainly got it together by the time they did their Northampton demos (TDTMMTTDT)
