Weyes Blood at the Riviera in Chicago. Really enjoyed it. Nice and loud. She had a band backing her. She had some nice banter with the audience. Apparently she has a thing where audience members give her dvds that she talks about in between songs.

I'm a bit miffed that EWB hasn't gotten many year end accolades. I think this album is on par with all the other Spiritualized albums and should be recognized as among the best music projects of 2022.

Here's a great article and interview about the making of EWB. One classic line from Jason was that many artists need help getting from 27 songs down to 12, whereas he needs help getting from 3 songs up to 7. With the edition of Everything Was Beautiful, Spiritualized now has 9 studio albums containing 106 songs and if played from start to finish would take 8 hours 32 minutes. :D

I just thought I'd add my favorite bands from the mid 90s to the mid 2000s. Most of these I haven't listened to lately, but all of these I bought multiple albums from and all of them I discovered on the radio except Led Zepplin.
