One of the best drone bands around now that I'm really digging is Opium Eyes of Nico.

Evening of Contemporary Sitar Music

I happen to love Evening of Contemporary Sitar Music ever since it came out and was wondering was this a one off or are there any other recordings of this piece. I know Jason dips into it occasionally when he plays solo but a full band treatment is what I'm looking for.

I've never heard a 15 or 18 minute version of Acoustic Mainline, sounds divine. I would love to hear that. I have the 2003 KEXP my version is 7 minutes. I don't have the KCRW 2003 session and on the website they have a MON APR 8, 2002 show which is no longer available to listen to.

I've seen the JAMC reunion twice in 2007 and 2012 and they were ok but what I'd really like is some new music. After "all Things Must Pass" I thought for sure we'd get a new album but that didn't happen. Come to think of it same thing with Big Audio Dynamite, they toured and had a new song...

So far, I believe that "The Darlings of Wapping Wharf Launderette" has been the best of the reissues but I can't wait for the new box, I've got it on preorder from Amazon, it's ridiculously expensive but they are one of my favs of the 60's bands.

What are moderators feelings for any future posts on here and uploading more stuff - is the "rule" pretty much that deleted/rare/live stuff is OK and regular stuff is not really the done thing? Yep, pretty much. Just use your own judgement and if possible support the artists in other ways...

I also found a very cheap copy of Blue Stereo Music on Amazon, something like $0.05 plus 3.99 postage. It's interesting but I don't think I'll listen to it often. There are a couple of good tunes on there.

I'm gonna check out some of the other things mentioned in this thread.
