Re: Spiritualized Glastonbury Live 27th BBC Radio 6 + Video

I thought it was really really good, a world away from when I saw them in Austin. Lighting and sound were great and you could actually see what they were trying to achieve with these songs in the 'one soundscape setlist' Would love to cherry pick a setlist though, so many more upbeat songs never get...

Great great festival, had a blast so many top acts, DIIV, Black Ryder, The Myrrors, Mary Chain, Black Angels were the highlights for me and considering Primal Scream were missing barry cadogan on guitar and the backing singers they nailed a great festival set, converted a lot of people around us who...

Re: 2015 Austin Psych Fest Lineup (Levitation)

I think it's going to be a case of a bit of moving between stages catching half sets although the clashes weren't as bad as I feared. Looking at it all again, with the times etc, the line up really is insanely good!

Btw does anyone know who Jason has got in the current line up on this tour??

I went to AUSTIN PSYCH FEST last year and it was bonkers... if you decide to go, camping is the best route. It was mindblowing. There is a stage backed up to a river, with the mighty colorado river as the backdrop. Also it will feel like a desert as by sunday everything will have dust in it includi...

Went to Friday's gig, absolutely superb stuff, such amazing subtlety yet power at the same time. Some of those extended jams with the strobes were amazing. Incredible comeback gigs especially as I never thought i'd get to see them play. only nitpick would be they could've done with a better smoke ma...

Really enjoying it too. It has a mid-1980's post-punk vibe going for it which suits my current nostalgic mood. I have to say that the cover art is appallingly bad, so far past awful that it beggars belief. I assume that either it is a some sort of artistic pastiche that is far too subtle for the li...
