Jonathan Pie > Portsmouth Guildhall. I respect that this gig isn't a music gig, but I just think this guy is spot on with his enterpretation of the state this country is in (UK). The shambles of a government that we have ruining this country. There's lots of things to say about the whole thing, but ...

Slift at Chalk Brighton. Tried to enjoy this gig,but found it all too much. Obviously 3 very good musicians, just found it all overdone in places. Noise, prog and stoner on speed. I did enjoy the support band Servo. I could pick out some Ian Curtis ish vocals with psych guitars and gothic undertones....

Drone Rock Records showcase

Drone Rock at The Hope and Ruin Brighton. A wonderful evening of sounds from 5 bands Stereocilia, Gnob, Yetti, Psychic Lemon and 10,000 Russos. Re: What gigs have you just been to?

Nice early night too !

You don't realise how much something is part of your life until it's not there. Really missed the forum those few short days it was off air.
Thanks once again to all the moderators, without whom this brilliant forum would not be . Cheers.

Re: Drone Rock Records

Ditto on the post from sunray. Especially enjoying the debut from Brightons Yetti, some great Stoner rock. Good luck to the future of DRR. Drone on !
