I also bought the LITA release. I had York Blvd. on the the turntable all week when I got that email. Acetone opened up at my first Spiritualized show in 1997 at Lupo's in Providence. If you ever find yourself in Louisville, definitely make the effort to go to the Muhammed Ali Center. When I was there for the last Terrastock, I spent a couple of hours at the Center and it is an inspirational place.

U.S. v. Costa Rica

I will be finally going to my first meaningful U.S. game tonight since I saw them get crushed by Germany in the 1998 World Cup in Paris. This is really a must win game. Game time weather is supposed to be 30 degrees with snow so it should be a fun one.

Been fed a steady diet of Cleveland's, yes Cleveland's, Volta Sound. Been binge-ing for 3 days straight. Very BJM like but I have a sneaking suspicion they are much nicer guys. :wink: I saw them open up for Spectrum in Cleveland back in 2001. I drank my fill of Little King's Cream Ale that night. :D

I have seen him live before and I really enjoyed it. Of course, I was sitting on a couch and it is definitely music to be horizontal to. He threw out some nice Gottsching-esque guitar lines. Interestingly, he had Recurring on random before he came on.

The Rockies are off to their best start in franchise history and have the best record in baseball. Tulo is on fire. I am going Sunday and I hope to make it to the Ubaldo v. Lincecum matchup on Monday.
