The 5 CD version is down to 27 dollars on amazon US. Probably an error but i think they usually honour these kinds of things. Even with shipping its a steal so i jumped on it.

Yup, i have had wildy different experiences seeing them at different times, but also even within the same show. Some songs come across awesomely (more often the noisy ones) but frankly they can also sound a bit limp and sloppy.

Agree that the music takes a little while to gear up. Sway starts off sounding a bit limp but then when it gears up, it starts sounding magical. The band have always been really good at that.

Yeah I guess Lloyd may have provided a bit more intensity going by videos i have seen. These albums don't need a remaster surely? Young Team did initially but they already fixed it and gave it more oomph.
I wonder if they will continue opening the vaults and move onto Rock Action. The outtakes on previous sets for these albums were great (particularly Cody)

Ah okay thanks. It's a shame Bickers isn't still with them. That new song is definitely pretty good though.

I know they had basically split by the time the album came out, but i reckon these interviews were actually recorded a few months before when they were still playing happy families.

Yup i really like that song too. More immediately catchy and very Beach Boys. Less Pete influence on the face of it though
