Sure I heard an early Spiritualized tune on a rail travel advert this morning.
Couldn't hear it very well as too much other noise going on at the time!

Re: Sonic Boom - Spectrum (first album)

In light of the fact that Sonic seems to have retired the Spectrum and EAR names, I'm curious if anyone else has been revisiting his first solo album of late. It seems to never get talked about even by Spacemen fans. I think it's really good, myself. It's admittedly just Playing With More Fire. But...

Sounds like John Hillcoat could be directing the screen adaptation of Blood Meridian by the late Cormac McCarthy.

For me, TFC were one of the most underrated bands on the label. Grand Prix is defo one of the finest albums of the 90s for me. The songwriting is just incredible. Incidentally, You Suffer by Napalm Death is precisely 1.316 seconds long. The lyrics are 4 words: "You suffer, but why?" Justin Broadrick (singer, and later of Godflesh) is quoted as saying: "You Suffer was largely a comedy thing, one-second song. Utterly retarded. It's ridiculous, b...
