Yep.

Been lurking for ages but no real inclination to post. Still love the board though.

It's been so long between posts but see nothing has really changed, in a good way.

Re: hookworms- 'the hum'

'Groundbreaking' is such an odd word in a musical context. I am on this board as i was so lucky to see Sp3 years ago and since then i have loved Spz. Whilst both bands have been more important than any other to me i would still have to concede neither were necessarily 'groundbreaking'. It is the arg...

Top 3 can change positions all the time but remain the same choices. Sadly I think AG remains at the bottom. Love them all though!

Re: Last five albums/lp's you bought?

Still be totally enthralled by Wooden Shjips. Think i originally found them through a recommendation by Runcilble on this board. Shine Like Suns and Lucy's Ride in particular sound like SP3 or Spectrum with really trippy drones and even the vocals sound like Sonic's in an understated way. Can't reco...

Not a fan of Electronic and i don't share your love of The The. However i can assure you i am no commercia...

Re: Observer Interview with J. Spaceman

For the record, Jonny Marr wrote all the Smiths music on his own, then gave the tapes to Morrissey who came up with the lyrics on his own. Spot on. However The Smiths, at times, were brilliant live. The Brixton Acacdemy gig was wondrous and the band really tight. A great example of 2 people making ...
