Listening to this right now. Man, that Beta Band tree can do no wrong in my book. Beta Band, Aliens, Steve Mason, Lone Pigeon, Django Django..... did i miss anything? The bassist had a project under the name of The General & Duchess Collins, it's not great. I'm pretty sure I saw a post on Mason...

I went to Benicassim but chose My Bloody Valentine over Spiritualized as they clashed. I'll try + find out what happened regards amp smashing, they guy who recorded my bands CD is currently Spiritaulizeds sound man.
