What a gig! Two days later and I'm still reeling - partly from the almost dangerous levels of strobing, but mostly because I felt absolutely spoiled by an amazing selection of music played with real spirit and sheer bloody crowd pleasing. While there was nothing from LGM or A&E, we got a few cut...

Ah, the warm serenade of a stranger's Fuck Off. Why did I ever leave......? I think you're right Beautiful Noise, and it must have been the last song, otherwise they'd be playing to the blind and deaf for the last few numbers - although that would probably help with the ole testifyin' down the front...

Bit of a revelation this one. First off, Lisburn is a pretty inconspicuous town 7 or 8 miles outside Belfast, so a Tuesday night gig isn't going to attract anything but die-hard fans and curious locals. So although the crowd wasn't exactly heaving there was a great sense of enthusiasm and excitement...
