Yes, it's quite hard to get hold of. But those are the prices that eBay scalpers are hoping some gullible fan will pay. If you look at the completed listings on eBay, a couple of copies have sold recently for around £50-£70.

Anyone can list an item at any price. Doesn't mean anyone will buy it!

Brighton tickets bought, and I've pre-ordered the first two of the reissues. Probably best that the limited CDs had sold out, I would have regretted paying more for a bit of 2" master tape.

I think this will be the third time I've seen them in that venue, and the seventh time in Brighton...

The 23/7/89 gig was at the Town & Country (later the Forum, now the O2 Forum).

The 22/8/89 gig was at Subterania, three days before the final Spacemen 3 gig at the Reading festival.

Not sure which of these the recording is!

Absolutely agree that this is Jason's best album, lyrically. I don't tend to play it that often, but every time I do, I enjoy it more than I expect to. It could do without the overblown version of Lord Can You Hear Me, but otherwise, fantastic stuff.

Been thinking more about this today... I thought I remembered the original title of the album as Deep Trash, although I know it was never released under that title. LGM version, by some way. So many subtle touches. The way that the vocals have a reverse echo, so they fade in, but not too strongly.
