Re: 'The New Atlantis' compilation

The version of ‘Ecstasty Symphony’ was previously released on Dreamweapon. It runs for 9:00 rather than the 9:26 suggested on the cover. The version of ‘Transparent Radiation’ was first featured on the cassette Oozing Through The Ozone Layer, and was later reissued on a bootleg 7″. This is its only ...

I do wish they would release a live version of that album. Some of the bootleg US shows in the latter half of that endless AG tour were amazing and they were pushing out the slower songs to other places for sure… the Aberdeen 2004 gig I saw was incendiary. I don't know what the other recordings fro...

In the same way that Laz describes the label as mattering less after the arrival of Oasis, the same applies to Dave Cav's book. There's so much variety before them with stories coming from all over the place about so many acts, but once Oasis are established, most of it is about them. Understandable...

Please bear in mind that in the past, both Pete Bain and Pete & Jason have made statements that they have later had to retract or take down. Legal matters can be a minefield, and expressing opinions in public isn't always wise. I am sure that many of us have strong feelings about this, but the b...

That stunningly short clip of Pete at 2.29 is from the night, and I don't remember seeing video of that performance from that angle before, although I'm not 100% sure about that. I don't remember it being pro-shot on the night, looks like it's a camcorder shot.

I'd assume it's just a repress of the current Fire version, which has been 180 g for ages. Sound quality much the same as the Fire version has been since 89 (i.e. not great compared to the original).

Fire aren't universally popular among former Spacemen, but it's not on Space Age.
