Re: The Spiritualized Book Club

Rose Tremain - The Road Home. Very enjoyable look at a Russian immigrant's experiences in the UK. First book I've read of hers but have already started another. I'm fairly bad at reading fiction, I've read pretty much everything by Paul Auster but not much more.

Re: Rare & Unreleased Galaxie 500/Luna/Dean & Britta

I haven't listened to them all but they're different, ie live, demos, radio sessions etc. That's why they're posted on the site. They might be strictly for hardcore fans so it might be worth a listen before you download. There's definitely a lot of the tracks in the Luna folder that are only availab...

Re: Luna - Bewitched LP pre-order + test press

Nice interview with Dean Wareham in the Village Voice talking about the last of these Galaxie 500 shows and a little about his new solo LP. I must say i'm looking forward to a solo record. 13 Most Beautiful was great but the other two Dean and Britta records were patchy. http://blogs.villagevoice.co...

Spacemen 3 job lot.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271020664081?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 19 records for £250. That seems like a decent price assuming the condition is OK as it works out to less than £15 a record. Some of the records on that list go for £35 or more on a ...

Jerry Lee Lewis - Killer - The Mercury Years Volume III 1973-1977. Fantastic stuff. He mananged to insert his name into about two thirds of the songs, hilarious.
