i recorded Denver. Combination of a pretty mediocre mix and a new recording setup resulted in a mediocre recording.

God...the vocals for the first 2-3 songs was HORRIBLE in Denver. Sounded like you could only hear the monitors. Eventually they got things ironed out.

I don't know about venues in Texas, but generally I have found that most bands do soundcheck around 4-5pm (at least in Colorado). I say, get there early and scope out the scene. Obviously the tour bus is a good place to hang out. J was in very friendly form last night in Denver. Waving to the crowd....
