Re: Budapest - Any tips?

Me and the missus are off to Budapest for a long weekend in May. We've been before, but over 10 years ago now. The last time we went we stayed around the main city centre. So, we visited places like St Mary's Island, the Parliament building, the labyrinth (which seems to be shut now: https://www.lab...

I've loved Hendrix for 30 years but only have 4 of his albums - the 3 studio, and the BBC Radio Sessions (Drivin' South is fantastic!). I appreciate I'm missing some essential stuff. What should I go for next?

Yes, I spotted this. I'm (or was) a big Supergrass fan, but I'm not so keen on his solo atuff. I thought the first album was better than the second, but my missus like's him so we'll probably get the one.

Re: Primal Scream - Where The Light Gets In

It was on the radio the other day when I was driving to work. Sandwiched between Rihanna and Craig David it didn't sound too bad. Not sure if that is damned with faint praise, or if it's actually growing on me?

Re: Primal Scream - Where The Light Gets In

I like Beautiful Future - I know a lot of people will think I am mad for saying this, but I think it's the best record they've done since Screamadelica. However, this new song doesn't have a BF vibe to me - sounds like a bit dull and generic "pop" to me.

I wouldn't have posted the link if I had know about this, but at least it raised the issue and we now know about Space Age Recordings.
