Home of the Brave on TV???
Caught an advert last night relating to some TV show where some "guru" is gonna make people quit the three worst drugs (fags, drink, something else) for ever on Channel 4 or 5 next week all advertised over Spiritualized's "Home Of The Brave". Couldn't help feel that someone, some...

Any fans around these parts? I first heard "Maybe We Should Take Some More" years ago and love it still, but it was the only album i've heard by him (until recently). Internet suggests he's released quite a lot of albums, but i was wondering if any one else had any recommendations or favou...

Re: FAO Spaceman Rob (Julian Cope):
I saw Copey play in Glasgow start of last year and it was just him, Kevlar and Doggen. Its was one of the most full-on, 1000m miles per hour shows i've ever witnessed. Doggen looked like he was having the time of his life all dressed up with his Brain Donor makeup on. Don't miss it!!!! I cannot get ...

FANTASTIC!!!!
I first heard them a year or so ago when i searching for new music online. Agree they have some beautiful sounds!
No confirmation of the Glasgow venue yet, but i'll be keeping my eyes peeled.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned these guys but...: White Hills. Heavy Hawkwind/Spacemen type riffing from US 3 piece who are now touring the UK. Very heavy in places with great rippling guitar solos. http://www.whitehillsmusic.com Also Wooden Shjips. Occasionally cheesey keyboard type psych, then ...

I'd have paid £100 for a ticket if i'd known the show was gonna be as good as it was! 8) The expensive ones are those that have all the added extras... (Flights/drugs/accomodation/more drink t...

I understand the concept of an annual 30min album, but the idea of making them seems rather crazy to me, especially for a band like Spiritualized, where some of the songs are epic compositions lasting anywhere up to 18 mins long. To allow music like this breathe i think you have to let it naturally ...

if i was McCabe i'd refuse to reform if any of Ashcroft's pish was to be played. They should focus on recapturing the power and bonds they had. A few dates like this should really be used to show the masses what they are capable off... once the interest is back, they can them focus on new material.....
