I e-mailed this morning to confirm that it was the white vinyl double LP and Will Burns confirmed to say it was. No mention of a price increase (and just checked my e-mails). If they do I'll try to get it elsewhere and never shop there again.

Yeah I don't see the point in mentioning it really. It's his health and a private matter.

It has to be better than his latest run of poor records (excluding Le Noise).

I thought Greendale was great, a few tracks don't do so much for me but there are some really great songs on it. And while it was CrazyHorse, it was a threepiece, minus Frank Sampedro.

Bone Machine is indeed fantastic but personally wouldn't recommend starting with it.

I'm not a huge fan of his early stuff but love basically everything since Raindogs. I've been on a big Waits binge since December and picked up Alice, Blood Money, Real Gone, The Black Rider (re-issue) and Bad As Me all on vinyl over the Xmas period. Frank's Wild Years might be a good place to start.

That's the thing...concerts in Europe are so much more expensive. I've seen many gigs in England (and even in Dublin at Vicar St. and at the Melqweg in Amsterdam) and 20-30 quid is kinda the norm for many shows. Thing is....rarely do I see a gig here that is over $20/$25. Almost all are $10-$20. So...

I got this about a fortnight ago and have played it about six times at this stage. I'm a little underwhelmed so far. Still waiting impatiently for this, should receive the record tomorrow hopefully. I've only played the I Might 7" so haven't heard any of it. I'm not expecting a record better then YHF or AGIB but most accounts are very positive so far so can't wait. Also looking forward to seeing them in Utrec...
