Just put on the covers album vinyl for the first time (i've listened to it on Spotify a few times) and it's really enjoyable. I was initially disappointed (where's the new stuff?!), but these are really great tracks.

2 nights of Spiritualized in a little over a week! It has been a while since the horrible show at the 2015 Austin Psych Fest (Levitation). I've been able to block it out of my memory, or at least tried hard. Eagerly waiting for them to reclaim my fanboydom.

He was a huge inspiration for me as a bass player when I discovered Can in middle school. He will be greatly missed.

As runcible said, that concludes one of the best rhythm sections in all of music.

I canceled the escrow on the 1927 house after the home inspection revealed an insane amount of repairs needed (which the seller was not willing to fix). Close to getting another one in a better neighborhood that was built in 1925. Fingers crossed!
