Re: Welcome to the board!
He was co-commentating on the World Cup on - get this - UK TV Gold's coverage. Fuckin bizarre. The commentator was, I think, ITV has-been John Helm and every time the tv pictures went away from the action, the commentary stopped. Like they were, oh I dunno, maybe watching it in a studio in London an...

Did anyone see the Ron Atkinson tries to help out Swindon Town programme on Sky One last night?
It was meant to be the Big Ron Manager, but it all went tits up and they ended up at Peterborough.
Anyway... the soundtrack music at the end (I only caught the end) was, bizarrely, Mogwai.

Sorry to hear about that mate. I can sympathise as can many others on here, probably. Anyone who doesn't live in the UK is probably unaware of the concept of a completely hopeless public transport system. I rarely use it these days, preferring to drive, even if it means missing out on a drink. On th...

my first experience of the Buttholes was at the Reading Festival when it turned from a grebo festival to an indie one. I was nearer the mixing desk than the stage but was still shocked to find myself caught up in an almighty moshpit as soon as the first chord crashed out. It was pretty amazing. And ...

Anyone in the West Mids this weekend might wanna check out Hayseed Dixie at the Moseley Folk Festival on Sunday.
